Flower Care Guide
"Caring for your flowers"
- We deliver our flower bouquets wrapped wet alongside extra water, to ensure they can stay as hydrated as possible upon delivery/receipt. On receipt of your flower bouquet, unwrap your flowers with care over the sink. Fill up the vase two-thirds with fresh water.
- Change the water every 1-2 days as flowers love drinking clean water, and ensure the vase is clean.
- Use sharp scissors to cut the stems 2cm off at a 45-degree angle and remove any leaves that will be below the waterline when changing water.
- If you received our flower box, you do not need to take the flowers out of the box. Please check the arrangement daily to see if the foam in the box is still damp, and if dry, add 1/2 cup of water through the center of the arrangement.
- To ensure the lasting beauty of your floral gifts, it's essential to keep your flowers away from draughts, heat, direct sunlight and air-conditioning. Also, make sure they are placed away from the fruit bowl.
- Remember to remove any spent flowers regularly.
- Some flowers drink through their petals, such as Hydrangeas, Phalaenopsis and Dancing Lady Orchids. For these varieties, we recommend spraying them to keep them fresh for longer or soaking them in cold tap water to refresh them.
- After disposing of your last flowers, ensure to wash the vase/container thoroughly in hot, soapy water, or you can place it in your dishwasher. By providing your flowers with a fresh, clean environment, they will last much longer.
